Who we are
Grow & Connect London is a Christian friendship and mentoring programme in London. We are responsible for the information you give us when you apply.
What we collect
When you apply, we collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your gender, age range and the area of London you live in
- Your church (if you tell us)
- Where you are in your faith and what you’re hoping for
- The best time to call you
Information about your faith is treated as special category data under UK GDPR. We only collect it with your explicit consent, which you give by ticking the box on the application form.
Why we collect it
- To call you and get to know you
- To match you with a Christian friend and a mentor
- To keep in touch with you about the programme
We never sell your information or use it for marketing by anyone else.
Who can see it
Only the Grow & Connect team can see your application. When we match you, we share your first name and contact details with your friend and mentor so you can meet, and only after we’ve talked it through with you on the call.
Your application is stored securely with our database provider, Supabase, on servers in London.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you’re taking part, and for up to 12 months after your last season so we can rematch you if you come back. After that we delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See the information we hold about you
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete your information
- Withdraw your consent
